Acupressure Massage

Chinese acupressure massage is a therapy involving the stimulation of specific acupoints using firm finger pressure and other varied techniques. Acupoints are the sites where the vital energy (qi ) of the body organs and meridians ( energy pathways) reach the body surface. Different points relate to different organs and meridians.

The meridian-acupoint system of the body has a correspondence from the surface acupoint to the internal organs. As most illnesses are considered to be caused by an imbalance of the body's qi energy flow, Chinese massage therapy works with

the strength and sensitivity of the human touch, to stimulate effective acupoints.

Once the body's natural self-healing abilities are activated, a balanced flow of qi energy is restored and one's intrinsic resources will allow sufficient healing to occur.
